Revegetation plan includes all of the Trinity Inlet Catchment and part of the Barron River Catchment. It encompasses the major urbanised areas of the Terrain on the Map.

Founded 1995
Focused on education of the community on environment matters, running workshops and field days on plant and weed identification, habitat tours and night spotting.

TICMA is committed to revegetation of creeks to restore native vegetation and prevent exotic plants from being planted on creek banks by new residents. Emphasis is on community involvement with many sites now being revegetated and maintained by residents.

Australian Government Natural Heritage Trust was our first funding source and remains our major funding body.

Terrain Natural Resource Management (NRM), the regional NRM body Devolved grant for a paid casual groundworks manager where sites are unsuitable for public participation.

Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) a major purchase from this source occurred in 2003 enabling us to purchase our own vehicle and a trailer followed soon after. All our tools, wheelbarrows and other essential equipment  as well as our first computer were purchased with funds from this source. The Reef Hotel Casino has also been a constant supporter of our activities.

We have had activities funded by many organizations over the years:- Westpac Bank, Rotary, Coles Cares, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, Community Natural Resource Awareness Activity and Cairns Regional Council.
